The 2026 TMSI research meeting will be held Wednesday, May 13 – Sunday, May 17, in Atlanta, Georgia. We will be staying at the Drury Inn, located at 6520 S Lee St, Morrow, Georgia, just off I-285 and I-75. It is located about one mile from the Georgia Archives and the National
Archives Atlanta branch, and is easily accessible from the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport
and by car. This location is also within a one-day driving radius for day trips to Meriwether family sites around Georgia where ancestors of multiple Meriwether lines lived in the decades after the Revolutionary War.

Rates are for single or double occupancy and include a hot breakfast bar and the daily 5:30-7 pm “Kick Back”, which includes a rotating menu of free hot food, beer, wine and soft drinks. There is an additional charge of $10/person/night for more than two people per room. Free parking. Free Wi-Fi. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. Rooms can be cancelled with no penalty until the day before scheduled arrival.
